About F1 • F1: First-Year Photo Project serves as a way for first-year students to document their personal transition to Texas A&M University through guided photography, internal reflection and communication with others.  F1: First Year Photo Project encourages first year students to examine personal identity; work through the uncertainties of change; and discover how involvement at Texas A&M can complement, expand, and challenge their collegiate experience. This will be done while using the lens of photography to capture their experiences.

  3. Purpose • Growing through the first year while using photography • Documenting the experience

  4. Dues • $25 Fall • Includes shirt • $15 Spring

  5. Socials • Hang outs outside of meetings • Movie Nights • Craft Nights • Scavenger Hunts • Big Event • Light Painting

  6. Meetings • Learn new photography skills • How to use a camera • Lighting • Photojournalism • Bonding/Mentorship • Bond with other members through activities • Scavenger Hunts • Be put into committees with the execs • Further relationships • Help out in the club • Photo Show-Off • Show members photos from photo projects

Final Show • End of the year show • Held in April during Parent Weekend • Showcases photos that are taken during the year • Members will get a certain of number of photos showcased based on a point system throughout the year • Invitees • Parents • Friends • Deans • Teachers • Everyone and anyone!

  12. Photo Journal • Each week showcase a new photo on the F1 website • Let’s others know what members have been up to • Able to add a caption/blurb
