The American Community Survey (ACS) In the C2SS, as in the 1990 census, people 5 years and over responded to the following questions: • Ongoing survey designed to replace the long form in the 2010 Census. • The Census 2000 Supplementary Survey (C2SS) -- the year 2000 test of the ACS -- collected data from a national sample of nearly 900,000 households. • Data provide the most comprehensive profile of language use in the U.S. in over a decade.
