  2. Step 1. Call your cable company I want to cancel my cable TV (but keep my internet) Are you crazy?! You need TV and we have a monopoly! I want to cancel my cable TV Fine. But we’ll charge you more if you just get internet. So you might as well keep just basic cable cause it works out the same

  3. Step 2. Buy a Windows 7 PC Option A. Regular desktop PC Lots of options (ex. Amazon refurb) $350-$600 + Easy to upgrade + Works with add-in cards + Can be great value - Big (but perfect if using with Xbox as front-end) • Option B. Small PC • Dell Zino HD$299-$499 • + Can fit right under your TV • + Only the options you need • Harder to upgrade • Premium vs. desktop for same components

  4. Step 3. Get a TV Tuner Option A. Basic USB or PCI Tuner* Hauppage (ex. Amazon) $50-$100 per tuner; need 2 if you want to record or watch 2 shows at once Option B.
