Peshtigo River – Fri, Jun 29 • Crivitz (hwy 141) to cty P • Temp 75º, three hours on water. • Substituted this trip for the Pike River whitewater class 2 trip because water level was too low. • This section of the river has one class 1 rapid, called “William’s Ripp.” • Today was Ken’s first experience with rapids, even though it was only a tame one. • Current was slow. • Saw hawks, deer, ducks, muskrat, & eagle.
