  2. Purpose of IELTS Listening • IELTS listening is one of the major modules of the IELTS test.  It involves not only listening but reading and writing as well. If you follow correct methods, you will find that the test is pretty easy.  https://www.linguasoftech.com/blog/ielts/

  3. Read instructions properly •  The thumb rule to score good marks in the IELTS listening test is to read the instructions properly. Let us say for an example that if it has asked to use no more than one word and you use three words, it will be considered wrong.   4. Guess the topic • If you guess the topic, you will become aware what kind of conversation is taking place. Utilize the time given to you and guess who is speaking to whom and what the theme of the topic is.   6. Careful with question order • If you have a table, diagram or chart to complete, the questions will necessarily go from left to right.
