  6. 3. FDA input • Initial response: Social media okay for message delivery • Documenting recommendations for internet and social media usage for fall release • Main concern: direct-to-consumer information is accurate and complete

  7. 4. Industry Involvement • Blogging: Adopt J&J’s model for blogging and providing community value • Twitter: Could follow the Novartis model, but difficult to adapt • Facebook: Follow Merck or Bayer model • Unique social networking site targeted at Life Sciences professional.
