  2. Title Page • The first page in your notebook is your title page. • Title your title page like the following Chemistry *Properties and Changes of Matter *Atoms, Elements, and The Periodic Table *Compound, Mixtures, and Solutions

  3. Table of Contents • The next two pages will be your table of contents. You will use the front and back of each page for this. • Title the top “Table of Contents” • Using the margin lines, divide the pages into thirds. The left sections needs to be titled date, the middle needs to be titled topic, and the right section needs to be titled page.

  5. Numbering pages • Starting with the page after your table of contents, number your pages in the top right hand corner. Number your pages starting with 1 and go to 100.

  6. Section headings/page numbers • You are going to create a sticky note tab for each of the following. Place the sticky note tab on the side of page, so you will be able to locate it easily. • Notes – page 1 • Labs/Experiments – page 31 • Study Guides – page 51 • Bell Ringers – page 61 • Journal Monday – page 81 • Vocabulary – page 97

  7. Science Safety Rules • Tape/Glue science safety rules to page one of your notebook. • Title page one – Science Safety rules • Go to your table of contents and title pg. 1 – Science Safety rules
