  1. Northeast Region Bio diesel – Taxation & Reporting Clearinghouse – NB only Canadian Jur – will others join? Dyed diesel – IFTA & exempt usage Decals – Incorporate IFTA & IRP identification (barcode) on TP license plate – eliminate decals Audit count – reduce for 3% or (1) include certain activities in audits (inspections) or (2) count each period as an audit

Northeast Region continued • Good coordinating effort (communication) between jurisdictions • Companies producing inferior decals • TP companies ordering more decals then they need (decal fraud) • Taxpayer education • Decal placement education • Ballot proposal for proper placement of decals and enforcement? • Buses operating interjurisdictionally under multiple legal entities

  4. Midwest Region KS,NE,MB,MN,WI,ND,IL,IN,IA,MO,OH How to deal with MI bio issue. ND and IA have already made changes to accommodate Ethanol. Some states have mandated ethanol use. KS/MO commercial zone. Commercial zone was not recognized my MO. Decals. Color: adding a different colored border so a red decal on a red truck would stand out. Placement: encourage to be somewhere on the cab.

  5. Western Region Grace Period. CO received some complaints that other jurisdictions were not honoring the grace period. Decals Tracking by Decal Number's Renewals Trip Permits – Issuing electronically Borders - not only Mexico/Canada
