  1. Battery Installation and Replacement Scientific Atlanta DPX 2203B4 Battery Installation and Replacement Scientific Atlanta DP 2203C Battery Replacement Action Battery Replacement Action 1. Gently press the battery compartment cover on the front of the modem to open the cover and gain access to the battery compartment. MODEM BATTERY 2. Place the modem on top of the Battery Pack. This can be done with the power plugged into the modem. 2. Move the battery lock upward and to the right to the unlocked position. 3. Insert the new battery into the battery compartment until it clicks into place and close the battery compartment cover. 3. Slide the modem to the left to seat the modem to the battery pack. 4. Slide the battery lock downward and to the left to the Locked position. 5. Gently raise the battery compartment door until it clicks and closes securely. Unplug your CDV modem from the power outlet to install the battery. Once the battery installation is complete, plug your CDV modem back into the power outlet. Check for dialtone. The battery can take up to 24 hours to fully recharge, If you do not have dialtone, please call us at 800-948-5385 for assistance. Thank you!
