Background • Lone Jaguar dealership in the greater Western New York region. • Jaguar, is a relatively low-volume luxury brand, sells a vastly lower quantity of cars than luxury competitors • West Herr Jaguar has a very small staff • Opportunity to create a luxurious customer service experience • Employees will get to know customers automotive needs very well through the new proposed database.

  5. Business Problem • Customer experience is not unique • Customer often must repeat herself to multiple employees as they “enter the equation” • Buying a car, especially a true luxury automobile, should be special

Database Design Overview • Three main tables • Three queries from which several reports are based • Three forms total (excluding switchboard); subforms • Five Reports • Car Color – includes images of customer cars taken at dealership • Customer Information – basic owner information for contact purposes • Cars Purchased – dealer able to track what models are most popular • Most Recent Services – tracks how recent a given customer has been visiting • Services Provided – list of services provided and how many cars required given service
