  4. Role of PRIA • Objective Base Line Data for Discussions among Ministers • Acting as Technical Advisor for Activity Mapping in 14 States • Taking translated understandable version of MoU to people and Panchayats • Monitoring implementation of MoU under the leadership of Coalition of Panchayats

Role of PRIA • Campaigns for Awareness • Analyzing Institutional Mechanism: State version of RTI Act, SICs, PIOs, … • Building capacities of Institutions in collaborations with SICs • Partnering with Colleges, Universities, SICs, NGOs, NYKS, NSS, Panchayats, Municipalities and Media for Handholding Supports and Advocacy

  9. Social Accountability It is not only what we do, but also what we do not do, for which we are accountable’ - Moliere • Social Accountability: Top Down? Bottom-Up? Horizontal? Or All side? • Initiatives requires proportionate investments in Public Education and Citizens’ Mobilization • And it also requires planning from beginning and Patience to pursue in Participatory Manner
