  3. Central Angle and Arcs • A central angle is an angle whose vertex is the center of a circle. : Central Angle

  4. Central Angle and Arcs • Minor Arc: the piece of the circumference of the circle that is formed from a central angle less than 180 degrees. AB • Major Arc: piece of the circumference larger than 180 degrees. ADB • Semicircle: piece of the circumference that is exactly 180 degrees.
