Tips to meet expectations • Leave your electronics at home. • Keep your device secure and off. • Keep your device out of sight during class - Phones should not be sticking out of your pocket. If a teacher can see it, it’s not out of sight. • Again, electronics includes earbuds and headphones, you should NOT have them on or out even if you are not using them.
Lunch Time Procedures • Once you are dismissed from class, walk to the lunch and form lines around the cafeteria windows. Please WALK, do not run, to the lunch line • Patiently wait to grab your meal and demonstrate scholarly behavior. • Do NOT cut the line or let your friends cut in line. • Once at the front of the line, take a tray and utensils, then choose your lunch items. • Be courteous and respectful to lunch servers.
Cafeteria Rules • Every student has a right to ONEfree meal. • It’s your responsibility to get what you need while going through the line, including condiments. • You may NOT go back for seconds for milk, cookies, chips, etc. • Every meal must have a fruit or vegetable. • Do NOT touch the food unless it’s the one you are going to take and eat. • Learn your student ID number, as you must input it before leaving the lunch line. • Again, be courteous and respectful to lunch servers, as they are here for you.
Lunch Time Procedures • Once you have your lunch and you inputted your ID number, you may eat at the lunch tables or the benches. • You are responsible for throwing your trash in the appropriate bins when you are done eating. That means you must ensure your lunch table (or bench) and the area around it are free of trash BEFORE you leave. Follow these steps for throwing away trash: • PLACE BOTTLES and EMPTY MILK CARTONS into the blue bin • EMPTY the trash in your tray into the trash bin. • STACK TRAYS on top of the bin that’s upside down
Lunch Area • Note the lunch area is within the red border • Students are NOT to go near the classrooms during lunch • Stay in the designated area at all times, and be kind to one another. This is the time to socialize.
Lunch Time Procedures • You can spend the remainder of lunch in the lunch area, or play sports in the gym (if there is supervision for that day) • We expect all students to be respectful towards each other and all staff at all times, including campus monitors and campus safety officers.
