Mission • Preserve and maximize quality and quantity of water available to the City • Enhance wetlands and stream banks • Protect and enhance wildlife habitat • Protect aquifers and wellheads • Establish sustainable tree harvest program • Understand the watershed ecosystem • Evaluate expansion of watershed size

Lafayette Fire Training Plan • Time Frame - June 2003 • Purpose • Consistency with Watershed Plan • Management of equipment during a timber/brush fire, I • Identification of staging areas • Conduct supervised burns of debris piles and extinguishing the piles • Preparing trails for firefighters to move through the Watershed quickly.
