  1. 244thQuartermaster Battalion’s Easter “Spring Fling” 7 April 2012 On Saturday, 7 April 2012, the 244th Quartermaster “Guardian” Battalion, 23rd Quartermaster Brigade, Fort Lee, Virginia held a “Spring Fling” to celebrate Easter holiday. It was organized by 1LT Tina Sturrup from Golf Company and Mrs. Beverly White Golden, the leader of the 244thQuartermaster Battalion Family Readiness Group. The “Spring Fling” took place at the Fort Lee MWR “Hide-Away Club”. Cadre, Instructors, and family members of the Guardian Battalion’s Alpha, Mike, Juliet, and Golf Companies, as well as the Logistic Training Department enjoyed a traditional BBQ meal, Easter-themed games and crafts, and an Easter egg hunt.
