  2. Who’s Shaun White ? In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past four years, then you have probably heard the name Shaun White before. Here’s just a few things you should know about him: • Born on September 3rd, 1986 • Has been snowboarding for 20 years • Became a professional snowboarder at 13 • Became a professional skateboarder at age 16 • Has a brother (Jesse), has a sister (Kari), and parents (Roger and Cathy) • Has won two Olympic gold medals, and a whole trophy case of X Games medals, and more

Shaun’s Accomplishments • Only athlete to ever win gold medals in both Summer and Winter X Games • Most gold medals ever in Men’s Olympic Superpipe • Only athlete to win both Summer and Winter Dew Cups • First to “Four Peat” Gold medals at the X Games Superpipe • Holds the record for highest score on Men’s Olympic Superpipe (48.4 pts.)
