  2. Day One 4:00 PM Deluxe Motorcoach departs for St. Louis.

  3. Deluxe motorcoach equipped with air conditioning, reclining seats, bathroom, televisions and DVD player. Travel overnight; Stopping for dinner. $10 in meal money for each student.

  4. Day Two 8:00 AM Stop for breakfast; Meal Money included. 9:00 AMArrive in St. Louis

  5. Day Two (con’t) 9:00 Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site is located on the site of an ancient Native American city situated directly across the Mississippi River from modern St. Louis, Missouri.

  6. Day Two (con’t) 12:00 PM City Museum Housed in the 600,000 square-foot former International Shoe Company, the museum is an eclectic mixture of children’s playground, funhouse, surrealistic pavilion, and architectural marvel made out of unique, found objects. A box lunch will be provided

  7. Day Two (con’t) 3:00 Depart for St. Louis Area Hotel Accommodations at a hotel similar to a Hampton Inn and Suites or Holiday Inn Express. Exact hotel will be announced at a later date.

Day Two (con’t) 5:00 Dinner at Sweetie Pie’s When Miss Robbie Montgomery, a 1960s backup singer for Ike and Tina Turner," suffered a collapsed lung and had to stop singing, she decided to pour her talents into another creative venture—a soul food restaurant called Sweetie Pie's. $15 meal money for each student.

  9. Day Three 9:00 AM St. Louis Zoo Home to more than 18,000 exotic animals, many of them rare and endangered. These 700 species represent the major continents and biomes of the world. Set in the rolling hills, lakes and glades of Forest Park, the Saint Louis Zoo, one of the best zoos in North America, is always a great place to be.

  10. Day Three (con’t) 1:00 PM Gateway Arch The Gateway Arch is a 630-foot monument in St. Louis, Missouri. Clad in stainless steel and built in the form of a flattened catenary arch, it is the tallest man-made monument in the United States and second tallest in the world.

  11. Day Three (con’t) 4:00 PM Mississippi River Sightseeing Cruise Relax as you take in views of the St. Louis skyline as you travel down the Mississippi by riverboat. Learn about the history of the St. Louis Riverfront, the Mississippi River, the Gateway Arch, and all of the fascinating historic sites along the way. The captain narrates the cruise aboard the riverboat.

  12. Day Three (con’t) 5:30 PM Dinner at Hard Rock Café located in St. Louis Union Station. Once the largest and busiest passenger rail terminal in the world, is now one of America’s great marketplaces. Restored and redeveloped, Union Station is a great place for shopping, delicious dining and fabulous entertainment.

  13. Day Three (con’t) 7:00 PM Free time shopping at Union Station.

Day Four 9:00 AM St. Louis Art Museum Located in the heart of historic Forest Park, the St. Louis Art Museum is one of the nation’s leading comprehensive art museums with collections that include works of art of exceptional quality from virtually every culture and time period. The group will enjoy a docent-led tour of the museum, including the special exhibit section.

Day Four (con’t) 11:00 AM Historic Old Courthouse Completed in 1862, the Historic Old Courthouse takes you back to the time when Dred and Harriet Scott, both slaves, pleaded with the court for their freedom. The students will visit a restored courtroom from the 1860’s and view exhibits tracing the history of St. Louis.

Day Four (con’t) 12:00 PM Lunch at a place to be determined. 2:30 PM Meramec Caverns Beneath the fertile rolling hills of the Meramec Valley, lies a complex of mineral formations and color as rare and unique as they are beautiful. These jewels of nature which took thousands of years to grow, are preserved in the spectacular sights of Meramec Caverns. 

  17. Day Four (con’t) 5:30 Dinner at Imo’s Pizza Imo's has been a St. Louis tradition for the delicious taste – the thin, crunchy crust, the homemade sauce, the tangy provel cheese and plenty of fresh toppings. “The best pizza in the world,” according to Mr. Moore.

  18. Day Four (con’t) 7:00 PM Free time to explore the University City Loop & St. Louis Walk of Fame An energizing and eclectic entertainment and shopping district, The Loop offers six blocks of exhilarating retail, restaurants, live music, café culture, and a Walk-Of-Fame.

Day Five 10:00 AM Shopping at St. Louis Outlet Mall St. Louis Outlet Mall is a shopping, dining and entertainment destination for the entire family featuring 12 anchors, including Cabela's and over 170 outlet and brand name stores. Get set for fantastic family entertainment. It's all part of the St. Louis Outlet Mall adventure. Entertainment options for all ages include iceZONE (official practice facility for the St. Louis Blues), NASCAR SpeedPark, Regal Cinemas 18/IMAX, Putting Edge glow-in-the-dark miniature golf, Plan Nine Skate Park, Island Carousel and the Cubby Caboose Mini Trackless Train.

  20. Day Five (con’t) 1:00 PM St. Louis Science Center The St. Louis Science Center is a collection of buildings including a science museum and planetarium. With over 750 exhibits in a complex of over 300,000 square feet, it is among the largest of its type in the country, and according to the Association of Science and Technology Centers, is one of the top 5 science centers in the United States. The students will also choose from a selection of IMAX films to watch while at the Science Center.

Day Five (con’t) 3:30 Missouri History Museum The museum permanent collection includes both national artifacts, as well as Missouri and St. Louis related materials, such as local colonial and native artifacts, Louisiana Purchase Exposition artifacts, and items relating to Charles Lindbergh and his trans-Atlantic flight in the "Spirit of St. Louis.”A replica of the "Spirit of St. Louis" can be found in the museum. A large amount of artifacts from the Lewis and Clark Expedition are also housed in the permanent collection, as St. Louis was the starting point for that venture.

Day Five (con’t) 5:30 Dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory Located on Laclede’s Landing in downtown St. Louis, the Old Spaghetti Factory is a St. Louis favorite for the fantastic food and remarkable ambiance. The Old Spaghetti Factory has been named one of the 10 Best Family Restaurant Chains in the United States.

  23. Day Five (con’t) 6:00 PM Motorcoach departs for Tampa. Students will travel overnight on the deluxe motorcoach.

  24. Day Six 8:00 AM Breakfast Students will stop for breakfast. Meal money included.

  25. Day Six (con’t) 12:00 Students arrive at Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate High School

  26. All-Inclusive Price $694Students will sleep four to a room.Night time security guards will be posted on each floor for safety and peace of mind.$300 deposit will ensure your child’s spot, due by November 22, 2013.Remaining balance due by January 14, 2014.

  27. St. Louis Weather in March The average high temperature during the second week of March in St. Louis is around 55 degrees. Students should pack accordingly.
