  3. People at Work • Introduction • Occupation is the work that a person does for earning money. • Let us meet some people having different occupation and see how they help us in our day to day life.

  4. People at Work Teacher • A Teacher is a person who provides education to children and students.

  5. People at Work • Doctor • A doctor makes people healthier. When people get sick doctors figure out why? • They give people medicines and other kind of treatment.

  6. People at Work Farmer • A farmer is a person engaged in agriculture. • He grows food for us.

  7. People at Work Engineers •  A person trained and skilled in the design, construction, and use of engines or machines.

  8. Peopleat Work Blacksmith • A blacksmith makes things of iron for us.

  9. People at Work Plumber • A person who fits and repairs the pipes, fittings, and other apparatus of water supply, sanitation, or heating systems.

  10. People at Work Carpenter • A Carpenter makes doors, windows and furniture of wood for us.

  11. People at Work Memorable points • People of different occupations help us in different ways. • We should give respect and love to everyone. • Without these people our life would be very difficult.
