The History Of The Violin • The violin is originally from Italy in the early 1500s. • The earliest noted violin makers were Gasparo da Salò and Giovanni Maggini. • At first the violin wasn't popular, it was a musical instrument of low status. • By the 18th century, the violin was a enjoyed music instrument. • The Violin is from the String family, along with Viola, Cello, and The String Brass.
