Does God have a body? • God did not have a physical body until Jesus Christ. • Descriptive terms such as hands, eyes, arms are only figurative language or anthropomorphisms • Interpretations of nonhumans in human terms for understanding by humans.
Terms • Heart- not a fleshly human heart but God’s love, intellect, and emotions. • Right Hand- not a physical hand but God’s power and righteousness. • God created His own body through Mary • The Elect will see God as He really is through the resurrected gloried body of Christ.
