  2. CURRENT PROCESS • NAVAIR releases naval message announcing due date for all inventory submission • Unit submits inventory through chain-of-command to NAVAIR • Manual cross-comparison between NAVAIR Master and unit inventory • NAVAIR releases Inventory Discrepancy Report

  3. Unit has 120 days to verify and correct discrepancies • Utilize the NAVAIR Discrepancy Report to report re-verified and/or corrected data

  4. FUTURE PROCESS(Web Based) • NAVAIR releases naval message announcing the date that unit inventories will be downloaded • Automated cross-comparison will be accomplished • Discrepancies will be tagged • Corrections shall be entered by unit POC on website
