  6. Step 9. Input Data Source Name = dsnPOS. Server = localhost. User = root. Database = tanaytech. Step 10. Click dropdown Step 11. Select tanaytech.

  7. Step 12. Click Connect Options Step 13. Input 3306 Step 14. Click Advanced Step 15. Check Don’t Optimize Column Width. Check Returns Matching Rows. Check Allow Big Results. Check Use Compressed Protocol. Click OK.

  8. Step 16. Click Test Step 17. Click OK

  9. Create ODBC for Windows 7 – Create dsnPOS ODBC manually. Click Start. Click Control Panel. Click System and Security. Click Administative Tools. Double click Data Sources (ODBC). Click System DSN. Click Add. Select MySQL ODBC 3.51 Drive. Data Source Name = dsnPOS. Server = localhost. User = root. Database = tanaytech. Click Connection Option. Port = 3306. Click Advanced. Click Flags1. Check Don’t Optimize Columnd Widht. Check Returns Matchin Rows. Check Allow Big Results. Check Use Compressed Protocol. Click OK. Note : %windir%\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe
