What is psychology? Psychology is the scientific study of behavior (actions) and cognitive (mental) processes.
Encourage people to be open to new possibilities, opportunities and ideas. What I do with psychology I help people who want to transcend their current reality, current beliefs, current ways of thinking, current limitations, and so on.

Changing your Mindset Mindsets create different psychological worlds: one in which students (people) are afraid of challenges and devastated by setbacks, and one in which students enjoy and want challenges and are resilient in face of setbacks. Many students (people) believe their mindsets are stuck/fixed. In reality they do not have to be at all!
Wake Up and Unlearn • We may be lead to believe that our lives are headed in an “appropriate” or “good” direction by external forces/people. • Do we really know what we want?

The Importance of Resilience • Resilient people are able to utilize their skills and strengths to cope and bounce back from the life’s challenges. These challenges might include illness, job loss, financial problems, relationship issues or the death of someone you love. • If you lack the ability to be resilient you may become overwhelmed by these experiences and simply fall apart.
Resilience relies on 2 personal skills that can be developed. • Self-esteem: can I answer the question ‘who am I?’ with confidence. Am I clear about my purpose, my vision, and my values? • Self-efficacy: how confident am I that I can get things done?
You have an amazing story! • Blindness to or ignorance of our true character/true self can lead us to make poor life choices, such as choosing a career or life partner. • Why don’t we really know ourselves? • Many people are simply confused, or simply never take the time to examine their own lives very well. • Much of what we want to know about ourselves exists outside of our conscious awareness.

Waking Up One of the greatest things we can do for others is to learn to like ourselves. People with good self-esteem are less defensive, better able to deal with negativity and pain from others, and are in a good position to inspire love and hope in others. How? Step 3 in Waking Up Be Free from a Fixed Mind A fixed mind is stuck and inflexible. It’s a mind that closes down, that is living with blinders on. Being free from a fixed mind is the third necessary quality for waking up. Life gives us endless opportunities to experience this freedom. Your work is noticing the gaps and appreciating them. In every action, every sound, every sight and smell, there can be some space, and in it there is wonder or awe at every simple turn.
Step 4 in Waking Up Take Care of Others • You want to help others. Helping others really makes you happy. You would do almost anything to help other people, to take care of them, love them and nurture them. • But one thing is wrong – you don’t take care of yourself. • So, you are full of resentment, anger and sadness. You feel depleted. What was once the joy of giving and being of service has turned into being worn out and not getting your needs met. • But – you’re scared to receive, you’re scared to be vulnerable and admit you need help and a part of you doesn’t think you’re worth the trouble anyway. • Sound familiar?
