EXAMPLES OF ACTIVITIES • PURPOSE (formerly CAREER) • Motivational speaker • Speaker on degree advancement • Self-care presentation • Leadership seminars • Creating a positive culture – promoting strengths • Encouraging staff to use their talents – art teacher teaching a painting class; tech teacher teaching a social media how to class; employee with interest in photography teaching other employees • SOCIAL • Christmas caroling • Making cards to send to students/businesses/employees • Book clubs • Family fun nights – bring kids/spouses together for kickball…or painting. • Random acts of kindness – pay it forward! • Walking meetings
EXAMPLES OF ACTIVITES • FINANCIAL • Living wills & trusts • Estate planning/long term care planning • Lunch and learn series on investments: PERA, deferred comp, HSAs • Healthcare directives • Couponing class • How to set a budget • Dave Ramsey workshops • PHYSICAL • Coordinate with Community Education for Zumba, Yoga, etc. classes • Accountability challenges for activity, fruits, veggies, water intake, sleep • Lifetime activities like golf, badminton, pickle ball, roller-skating • Couch to 5K • Dietitian-led classes • Empty nesters – how to re-establish yourself and your routine • Stress-less/stress management classes
