  2. Sustainable means using methods, systems and materials that won't deplete resources or harm natural cycles. Sustainability identifies a concept and attitude in development that looks at a site's natural land, water, and energy resources as integral aspects of the development. Sustainability integrates natural systems with human patterns and celebrates continuity, uniqueness and place making What is sustainability

  4. Metals serve a wide variety of uses in the built landscape, including structural features, such as nails and trusses, as well as decorative features, such as doorknobs and cladding. Lead, Tin, Copper, Aluminum, Zinc, Nickel, and Iron are the most commonly used in construction. Lead was used in paint. Tin was used for roofing. Copper is what most piping is made out of. Aluminum is used for siding on buildings. Zinc is a coating used on handles or door frames. Nickel is the main ingredient of stainless steel. Lastly, Iron is used as a main fire proofer. It is non renewable because we can't make more from it, but it is very recyclable and can be used over and over without altering its properties. metal

  6. The use of glass in buildings is a transparent feature to allow light to enter into rooms and floors, illuminating enclosed spaces and framing an exterior view through a window. It is also a material for internal partitions and external coverage. Architectural glass is commonly known as glazing. Soda-lime is the type of glass used for windows. Glass is non renewable, but the ingredients are plentiful and it is very recyclable. Cost of glass is based off of it density. The thicker it is, the more pricey it becomes. glass

  8. Wood has been an important construction material since humans began building shelters, houses and boats. When it is to be used for construction work, it is commonly known as lumber in North America. In buildings made of other materials, wood will still be found as a supporting material, especially in roof construction, in interior doors and their frames, and as exterior cladding. Soft: Cedar, Pine, Spruce Hard: Ash, Birch, Elm, Maple, Oak, Mahogany Some wood is renewable, that is, trees can be replanted and grown to maturity in place of those that are cut down.  But it is recyclable! wood
