  1. Got A Heating Emergency, Or A Boiler That Needs A Service? Hello – I’m Tim Clarke, owner of Taking Care of Boilers. I’ve provided affordable, reliable heating, plumbing and gas services in Wiltshire and beyond for almost 20 years. While some people dream of being a plumber, my path was less direct. Back in the late 1990s I dreamed of becoming a professional bike racer… until I broke my leg in a bad accident, aged 19. Stuck for something I could get my teeth into, I decided to go to college to study plumbing. Having grown up on a farm I’ve always been practical and good with my hands – dismantling and reassembling things is second nature – so it seemed an obvious choice. I set up my own business, repairing and maintaining Boilers And Heating Systems, and was soon handling around 150 breakdowns a week. I was quickly headhunted by Homeserve, who I’ve worked with since to provide subcontracted services for their customers.

  2. In 2002, I set up Manor Plumbing and Heating, renaming the business in 2016 after a trip to the US took in a visit to the home of the late, great Elvis Presley. Seeing his credo, Taking Care of Business, it dawned on me that Taking Care of Boilers was the perfect name for my company. After all, I’d been doing it day in, day out for almost 15 years. Over the years, my business has grown, and I now have a team of six admin staff and nine technicians – all fully trained to carry out gas and heating repairs, maintenance and installation. As well as handling boiler servicing and repair work for well-known insurers including AXA Assistance, CORGI HomePlan, and HomeServe, we’ve helped thousands of direct homeowners just like you. There’s not much I haven’t seen over the years, and my long-term clients know they can rely on me and my team in an emergency, whatever the problem.
