Modalities of Edn Management Orientation/Workshop Education Management and Development • Beneficiaries: Head Teacher • Duration: 3 days • Contact hours: 19.5 hours • Residential • Beneficiaries: HT, AHT & SMCs • Duration: 3 days • Contact hours: 19.5 hours • Residential • Beneficiaries: Head Teacher • Two modular course (5 days each) • Contact hours:78 hours (39 hours each) • Residential • Assignment based School Activities Plan (SAP)
Subject Based Training • Subjects areas: English, Mathematics, Science, Bangla & Computer • Category:classes 6-8 and classes 9-10 • Trainees : Teachers of relevant subjects (Math & English: 3 Teachers, Science: 2 Teachers & 1 Teacher from Bangla & Computer from each school • Modality : Two modular Course; 20 days each; followed by 5 days refresher for Math, English & Science • 12 days course for Bangla & Computer
Continuing Education (CE) Objectives: • Maintain literacy skill and mobilise rural communities by engaging them with libraries, develop financially sustainable learning centre. • Develop right values and voluntarism among students to bring changes in society. • Revival of volunteerism and skill development among community people especially youth. • Reaching out to underprivileged meritorious students and provide financial and skill based support • Provide rural citizens with access to information to develop their capacity and competency.
Students’ Mentoring Objectives: • Increase academic cycle completion and reduce dropout • increase attendance of students in school and classes • Develop leadership potentials and raise involvement in co curricular activities • Develop a demand for quality education among students • Increase practice of moral values among students

Computer Aided Learning (CAL) Computer Aided Learning Programme was initiated to make text content easy, interactive, interesting and stimulating adding visualization. Objectives: To improve teaching skills in: • making classes more learner centered, joyful and interactive • delivering lessons with conceptual clarity and better understanding
Medhabikash Uddyog • Medhabikas provide poor talented students with stipend to continue higher education. • The stipend is provided at higher secondary and undergraduate level. Selection criteria: • GPA 5 in SSC without additional subject; Family income not more than 3000/- & Land size maximum 50 decimals, parent’s profession mostly day laborer.
Chhatrabandhu (Volunteer Tutor) Chhatrabandhuprogramme provides tuition support to the poor students of grades VI to VIII organizing the local educated people to teach voluntarily. Goal: To Ensure 100% pass rate at SSC examination of the underprivileged students who admitted or will get admission in class six.
Objectives • To encourage and engage the community based educated persons into the voluntary works for the development of the poor students. • To ensure 100% participation in all examinations • To ensure regular attendance in school of underprivileged students • To assimilate / involve school for the development of the underprivileged students.
Gonokendros Gonokendros are multipurpose learning centers, which create access to a wider range of learning, skill development and cultural activities. • Gonokendro in brief • Opened with the financing of both BRAC and the community • Located at the union level/ secondary school premises • Located in a space donated by the community
Gonokendros in brief (cont…) • Has an average of 400-500 member • Operates by a part-time librarian (usually a woman) • Open for 4-6 hours a day and 6 days a week • Provides reading materials including books, newspapers and magazines. There are 1,000 books and 1-2 dailies. • Children’s Corner with 150 books and 2 magazines • Becomes self-financing within 2 years by forming trust
