  1. Intermacs Web-Based Reporting: Outcome Analytics Overview and Instructions for Downloading ReportsIntermacs Data Coordinating Center

  2. Congratulations! • You’ve chosen to access your site’s outcome analytics report • This tool provides many useful features that allow you to examine patient characteristics at your hospital while also comparing outcomes • Please note the Outcome Analytics is only accessible to Site Administrators

  3. What is the Outcome Analytics Tool? • The Outcome Analytics tool entails the creation and delivery of reports that describe the user-defined cohorts. After the user has selected the criteria for the cohort, they may submit the request. The following day, a report which describes the cohort along with a Kaplan-Meier is generated. The user-defined cohorts may be compared: • Between the site’s own patients (cohort # 1) and an equivalent overall Intermacs (cohort # 2) • Between the site’s own patients based on subgroups (cohort # 1 and cohort # 2) • A single cohort selection from a site

  4. Why does it take a day to get my report? • The outcome analytic feature is based on integrating two systems • 1) A new web based feature that allows selection of user-defined cohorts based on key patient characteristics • 2) Our analysis server that houses our latest research data and vetted statistical programs for advanced outcome analysis • This ensures you are getting the same integrity checked data and methods that are used in Intermacs Quarterly Reports Exhibits and Intermacs Research Project • Currently this linkage happens once a day but we hope to speed up this process in the future

  5. Outcome Analytics Reports Compare patient outcomes from your site and Intermacs based on user-selected groups of patients Report Request Select Cohort All Forms Intermacs Research Datasets Delivery Calculations Intervals
