Future Work D3.2.2 : ‘New aerosol anisotropy factors (R) for anthropogenic aerosol through combined analysis of aircraft /satellite observations’ • SWL↑ SWF Conversion There is no specific aerosol treatment in the GERB processing chain. • Implementation of R effect in the GERB conversion chain i. CERES correction code (Brindley and Russell, 2008) ii. Empirical ADMs = f(Vwind, geometry, τ, n) (Zhang and Christopher, 2005) iii. Develop Theoretical ADMs similar to the ones by Brindley and Russell (2008) using the aerosol properties from the FAAM flights.
