  3. The audio tour will be available: • On the San Diego Harbor Excursion Website (free download) • On the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau Website (free download) • At both ticket booths (refundable deposit required)

  4. Audio Tour Audience Tourists & San Diego residents

  5. Learning Outcomes • Passengers will be able to identify at least one San Diego popular landmark (Knowledge Outcome). • Passengers will gain appreciation for San Diego by learning about popular San Diego landmarks (Attitudinal Outcome).

  6. How will the audio tour meet the learning outcomes? • The audio tour will describe many San Diego popular landmarks as they are seen from the ferry. • The audio tour will include historical information as well as “fun facts” that will entertain and enlighten the passengers

  7. The Learning Objects • Passengers are emerged in the objects, which are the San Diego landmarks. The passengers are actually in the exhibit! • Our objects…

Why are they motivated or how will they be motivated to learn? • Tourists will be motivated to learn because they are visiting a new area and want to know more about America’s Finest City • San Diego residents will be motivated to learn because the audio tour will include fun facts that they may not know about San Diego.

  10. Assessments • Passengers will be given the opportunity to fill out a quick survey at the ticket booth for a complimentary San Diego postcard of their choice!
