Brief information: Okříšky station was put into operation on 23rd April, 1871. It started to be an important station during the First World War when military transports headed south or east went through.
Station The original station built in 1886 was very simple – the third class station: two traffic tracks (No I, II), oneleading to a warehouse (No III). The station had 5 points, the entrance was secured by signalling. In the north part there was a railway crossing with tie bars.
Extension Since 1886 because of the construction of railway track Okříšky – Zastávka u Brna two stations: - Severozápadní dráhaon the left - Státní dráha on the right. There were 27 points - in some places connected both stations.
