Data Automatically FlowsDatabase Card Lock Hot Spot Why Swipe a Hot Spot / Wired Reader? • Data is not real time • Force timely updates between lock, card and database What Data is transmitted? • Data on lock, card and database • Includes individual’s access rights & audit trail, company blacklist • Auto synched when card is swiped at Lock or Hot Spot How is card kept in synch?…with a Timer • Card is energized for specific time (i.e. 24h) • After timer expires the card goes dormant • Card timer resets (i.e. 24h) when swiped by wired reader • Data flows timely and automatically

Automatic Actions: • Card goes dormant when timer expires • Hotspot will kill card upon swiping • If card skips hotspot while timer is on, any “updated lock” will kill it • If the card is used on non-updated lock, it will still work. You can force a lock update by swiping an updated card
