  1. Year 6 PGL Trip Monday 20th – Friday 24th May 2019

  2. PGL • PGL has been operating holidays, tours and courses since 1957 and has therefore amassed a wealth of experience over half a century. The lessons learnt have become the foundation of our operating policies and practices resulting in an excellent safety record. • PGL has always placed a huge emphasis on safety – as a founder member of BAPA (British Activity Providers Association) and a licence holder for activities in scope of AALA (Adventure Activities Licencing Authority) regulations. Canoeing at all centres is approved by the BCU(British Canoe Union) and all our sailing centres are recognised RYA (Royal Yachting Association) teaching establishments. • We have always been pioneers of a safe approach to outdoor education. At the same time, we acknowledge that risk is part of life and so we try to help ensure that children understand the concept of risk benefit, so that they can learn to remain safe whilst still being able to live life to the full.
