Nehemiah 1:9 NLT 9 But if you return to me and obey my commands and live by them, then even if you are exiled to the ends of the earth  though your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven, from there I will gather them and bring them to the place that I have chosen, to make my name dwell there."

  15. Nehemiah 8:13 NLT 13 On October 9 the family leaders of all the people, together with the priests and Levites, met with Ezra the scribe to go over the Law in greater detail.

  16. Nehemiah 9:1 NLT 1 On October 31 the people assembled again, and this time they fasted and dressed in burlap and sprinkled dust on their heads.

  17. Nehemiah 9:2 NLT 2 Those of Israelite descent separated themselves from all foreigners as they confessed their own sins and the sins of their ancestors.

  18. Nehemiah 9:3 NLT 3a They remained standing in place for three hours while the Book of the Law of the Lord their God was read aloud to them.

  19. Nehemiah 9:3 NLT 3b Then for three more hours they confessed their sins and worshiped the Lord their God.
