Vocational Training Center- Youth acquiring skills in Carpentry, Organic farming/ agriculture, computer, Building and Concrete Practice, Entrepreneurship etc.

Engaging Youth • Youth and Extra curricular Activities. • Dance class/Break dance aimed at instilling confidence, self esteem. • Building musical skills in flute. • FDNC Mbale Youth Brass band- The only Youth Band in the whole of Eastern Uganda serving over 23 districts. Though still with limited musical instruments. • An income generation project that is supporting FDNC efforts and the youth with fees and other costs.
FDNC Youth Wind Band. We are envisioning the first youth orchestra in the whole of East Africa.
Mentoring right from childhood. FDNC works with all categories of vulnerable children and youth. FDNC has a center where children with disabilities are helped to have a value in life. These make crafts that are sold and support their efforts. Samples will be displayed.
Grooming the young generation by enabling them to be responsible. All the kids on the slidelost parents to HIV. Needed income for improved livelihood. (GOAT FOR WELFARE, nutrition, income as the goats multiply fast).
Team building with youth. • Examples: Unity in Diversity • Capacity development and shaping towards right attitudes.
Cross Cultural Collaboration aimed at shaping local exposure and better world view for all despite of race, tribe, religion, nationality, gender etc, working together. Accomplished through exchange of ideas and practical skills from the local, national and international community. (Between 1 to 6 weeks work camps and these give local youth an exposure and confidence. (Global Partnerships-Thinking Globally while Acting Locally)
