  3. Appearance • Red dusk color • Weighs about 600 pounds • About 5 feet tall • 8 feet long • 4 to 10 stripes • White stripe between eyes • Horns twist: twice • Horns 72 inches long

  4. Eating Habits • Herbivorous • Browser • Leaves • Fallen fruits • Flowers

  5. Behaviors • Moves during the first hours of daylight • Worst enemies: lions • 1 calf per year • Cares for calf for 7 months • Lives about 15 years • Runs or uses it’s horns to protect young and themselves
