  2. About us • Ibegan my film career in 1973 shooting 16mm television commercials with my trusty Arriflex and Bolex cameras at Charleston, South Carolina affiliate WCIV television. I later completed my undergraduate degree in Media Arts at the University of South Carolina in 1976. In 1979 I worked to recruit movies with the fledging South Carolina Film Office, a successful relationship I have continued to this day. Forrest Gump, Prince of Tides, North and South, Swamp Thing, Rich in Love, The Lords of Discipline and Queen are among the projects I have had a hand in recruiting and in some cases, location managing.
