  2. The Big Bang • Scientists believe that the Solar System evolved from a giant cloud of dust and gas. They believe that this dust and gas began to collapse under the weight of its own gravity. As it did so, the matter contained with in this could begin moving in a giant circle a bit like when the water moves around the drain in toilet.

  3. When did it happen? Our whole universe was in a hot dense state, Then nearly fourteen billion years ago expansion started. Wait... The Earth began to cool, The autotrophs began to drool, Neanderthals developed tools, We built a wall (we built the pyramids), Math, science, history, unraveling the mysteries, That all started with the big bang!

  4. What form is the universe in • We don’t know! • But it could be flat or another shape.
