UK primary sector • When did the primary sector in the UK begin to decline? • Agriculture has been and remains the main source of industry • Much of UK farming is now in the form of agribusiness- many small farms have been brought together which had led to the loss of jobs • How have the number of people employed in sector changed since 1850? (fig 8 p169)
Task • Use p169-70 to complete the table provided • You must include SLD and named examples for each reason
