Presentation of Information with MS PowerPoint Computational Thinking I learned how to create transitions in between my slides. Also, I learned how to create backgrounds for my slides and to copy and paste my charts from Excel to Powerpoint. Information Technology (IT) fluency is an introduction for non CSE or Engineering majors to learn and understand how the computer functions and how to use and apply generic programs ( Microsoft, Notepad ++, Excel, Alice, and JavaScript) . This course includes the introduction to basic programming and coding analysis. Kristina’s CSE Folder Data Analysis and Visualization with MS Excel Dynamic Webpage Programming with JavaScript Making Information Available to the World with HTML and Web Pages I learned how to create a spread sheet and create budgets using different codes and equations. Also, using excel I learned how to translate my data into a visual chart displaying the distributions of money. I learned how to merge cells and functional arguments. I learned how to transfer my files to my public webpage. In order to transfer these files we had to use the Secure File Transfer Client and had to Quick Connect to transfer the files to the public.html. I learned how to create hyperlinks to other pages or to display our labs,. I learned how to program using JavaScript. Unlike html, JavaScript uses {} brackets. I learned how to create alerts. Visual Programming with Alice Desktop Publishing and MS Word I learned how to command the objects to talk and move in their world. I learned how to reposition objects and how fast or far an object moves. I learned how to use path name notation and how to copy pictures from the Internet. Also, I learned how to use the ribbon at the top of Microsoft to create headings and make a table of contents.
