Speakers – continued • JBL JRX 110 • This is a live sound ‘monitor.’ • Musicians on stage will have these speakers in front of them facing ‘up’ so that they can hear themselves. • Most often these are used to hear vocals
Speakers - continued • Sony Tower Speakers • Your typical stereo speaker for the home. • Recording Artists, Sound Engineers, would have similar speakers to hear their ‘compressed’ creations through regular speakers.
Interfaces • M-Audio – Fast Track USB • Basic Interface – 1 x XLR, 1 x ¼ inch inputs • Used with Recording Software – Protools M Powered • Connected by a USB cable

Cables • XLR – 3 pin microphone cable • Y Cable – 1/8th inch with balanced RCA • Speakon – connects loud speakers to amplifiers
Stands • Boom Stand • Allows for more accurate placement of microphones • Round Base • Your standard microphone stand • Not as versatile as the boom stand
