Washington Monument • It is at the west end of the mall in Washington D.C. The monument was dedicated on Feb. 21,1885. It was created to honor George Washington.
The Capitol • The United States Congress works in the building. The original design of the Capitol is by William Thornton. The building is four acres.
White House • The White House is at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. It is called the Presidents House. The Presidents live there. During the war of 1812 British troops set fire on the building. Then white paint was applied to it.
