MICRO WORKPLAN FOR METHODOLOGY Methodology Title IMT.METH Identifier Recommendation Document Type WG - SERV. ITU - R WP 8F Lead Group Please note that this activity may be moved into WG - WRC as the WRC - 07 preparations become more advanced. This should be considered later in 2004. Volker Reitz, Deutsche Telekom AG, Germany Sub - group chair e - mail: Voker.Reitz@t - systems.com; Tel: +49 6151 9372468 Thomas Welter, Bouygues Telecom, France Editor e - mail: twelter@bouyguestelecom.fr; Tel:+33 1 39454136 This document describes the methodology used to calculate the Focus for scope and work spectrum requirements for the future development of IMT - 2000 and systems beyond IMT - 2000 from the year 2010 onw ards to fulfil the vision for the future development of IMT - 2000 and systems beyond IMT - 2000. It needs to be determined if a new methodology recommendation or a revision of the existing methodology ITU - R M.1390 is required. However, it is obvious that clea r guidelines and a comprehensive iterative process in the development of this modified/new recommendation will be required in conjunction with the other activities such as market/services, radio and spectrum aspects. The methodology will be developed in cl ose cooperation with all relevant working groups. This recommendation will not include values for additional spectrum requirements; these will be developed within [ IMT.ESTIMATE ] . SG 8 Seminar WP 8F Micro Workplans(1) Jim Ragsdale, USA
