MISION: Planificar y coordinar en forma integral el mantenimiento de los buques de la Armada y trabajos para terceros que ejecutaran las Unidades subordinadas, a fin de contribuir al alistamiento del material Naval y al desarrollo de las capacidades industriales y tecnológicas en su área de responsabilidad. G-MANT Software uruguayo para la gestión del mantenimiento • Brinda herramientas de apoyo al mantenimiento: • Correctivo. • Preventivo. • Predictivo. • Llevar un inventario actualizado de todos los elementos de nuestra organización. • Definir las características de cada elemento, su equipamiento adicional, la lista de repuestos, los planos y documentos técnicos asociados, las instrucciones de mantenimiento y las recomendaciones de seguridad.

Registrar las acciones de mantenimiento realizadas indicando características del trabajo, técnicos que actuaron, repuestos utilizados e intervenciones de servicios externos. • Llevar un historial de cada elemento con las intervenciones que se le han realizado, los repuestos utilizados, técnicos que intervinieron y servicios externos que actuaron. • Estudiar el índice de fallas de cada elemento. • Analizar las causas de las fallas para tomar decisiones (por ej.:capacitar en el uso de los elementos, mejorar la calidad de los repuestos y/o insumos).
