  1. History Department NEW COURSE!! CGH3m1 Genocide and Crimes Against Humanity This College/University level course investigates the major genocides and crimes against humanity in the 20th Century. It explores the dynamics of power and the events which lead to horrific events which must be understood to ensure measures are taken to prevent them from ever occurring again. Some of the events which will be explored include the Armenian Genocide, the Holodomor, the Holocaust, and the Rwandan Genocide among many others. By being globally aware we stand a better chance of understanding how these events unfold, and how we can try to make a difference.
