We have had a great first week of school together. It has been filled with projects and community building activities. Our classroom is already filling up with writing and artwork. We are just starting to use our assignment books and getting used to these. This is something that your students will bring home with them every day so you will be able to see what we are doing at school. Please be sure that you are looking at their planners every night and signing them at least two times a week. This will let me know that they are relaying information from school home to you. Everyday your students will have an ask me about question at the top of the column for that day. This will act as a prompt so you will have something to ask your student about as you look through their planner. Our class website is up and running. You are able to access that from our school districts website. The site will have all of my newsletter and has some great learning links on it. Our star of the week person next week will be Matt Myers. Thank you very much for everything you do for your kids! If you have any questions for me please don’t hesitate to e-mail or call.
