1. Directions to Executive Blvd From the White Flint metro, you can walk to Executive Plaza or take a bus. Walking: Exit the White Flint metro, and go down the stairs on the right into the underground tunnel.  This takes you across the Rockville Pike.  Continue walking straight along Marinelli Road, past the Mariott Hotel, and turn right at the corner after the hotel.  This puts you on Executive Boulevard.  Continue walking along Executive Boulevard, carefully crossing Old Georgetown Road.  Executive Plaza will be on the left.  The total walking distance from the metro is 0.8 miles. Bus: Obtain a bus transfer prior to boarding the metro train.  At White Flint, you can take bus 5, 26, or 81 to Executive Boulevard.  Bus 81 runs only on the half hour (e.g. 7:30, 8:00, 8:30, 9:00) and the last morning bus leaves at 9:00.  The bus stop is in front of and slightly left of the metro exit.  The stop for buses 5 and 26 is to the right of and around the corner from the metro exit.  There are two bus shelters.  Give the bus driver the transfer and 35 cents to board the bus. If you do not have a transfer, the fee will be $1.25. Alternatively, there is a free direct shuttle from the metro at Medical Center to Executive Boulevard, leaving every 20 minutes.  To return from Executive Boulevard to the metro, either walk to White Flint, or take bus 5, 26, or 81($1.25), or take the NIH shuttle to the Medical Center metro (free).
