Harit-Dhara is an integrated approach to improve the economic condition and quality of life of vulnerable rural families in Udaipur. This scheme includes various projects such as tank works, repair and maintenance, distribution works, and construction of new canal works.

HARIT DHARA “Harit-Dhara” is an integrated approach to improve the economic condition & status of life of vulnerable rural families. Under “Harit-Dhara” tanks transferred by irrigation department to PRI and tanks under irrigation department were sanctioned under two major components to ensure 100% water utilization : - • Tank works • Repair and Maintenance of Sluice Gates • Repair and Strengthening of earthen embankment through pitching and earth work to check seepage losses • Repair and Maintenance of waste weir and outlet system • Distribution works • Repair and Maintenance of old canal works • Desilting of canals. • Construction of New Pukka Canal works

HARIT DHARA • In hilly areas like Kotra and Gogunda there is perennial flow of water coming from upper forest areas. To convey this water to farmers field Saran (Pukka water course) work has been sanctioned. • We have sanctioned 9 Saran works (Pukka Canal) of Rs 120.97 Lacs. Out of which 2 works has been completed and rest of the works under progress.

HARIT DHARA Name of Work: Strengthening of Pannund Tank & Canal Village : Pannund Block : Bhinder 1190mpucca canal was constructed which heavily reduced the conveyance losses and benefit 75 farmer by increasing 731 bigha of irrigated area
HARIT DHARA Name of Work : Strengthening of Nagmala Tank & Canal Village : Phalasia Block : Phalasia *Nagmala Tank (RMC) Total chainage survey - 4350 Mtr. Repair work proposed - 2500Mtr. (Including dismantling of old plaster, bed conc. work and leveling of bed and plaster, coping.) New canal proposed - 900 Mtr. Dismantling of canal (head to tail) *Nagmala Tank (LMC) • Total chainage survey - 2250 Mtr. • Repair work proposed – 1350 Mtr. (Including dismantling of old plaster, bed conc. work and leveling of bed and plaster, coping, sluice gate repair.) • New canal proposed - 900 Mtr.
A new innovative practice named “UTTHAN” (Upliftment Through Targeted and Holistic Approach in NREGA) has been launched which is a wider version of “HARIT-DHARA” scheme. Covering all activities related to individual beneficiary. Intensive Monitoring of this practice is envisaged via “UTTHAN-CARD”, which is attached to the job card of the beneficiary. Whenever any benefit will accrue, it will be entered accordingly in the UTTHAN card in order to maintain a transparent record of works sanctioned at individual level
“UTTHAN” (Upliftment Through Targeted and Holistic Approach in NREGA) Under individual category works following works has been identified and were sanctioned in year 2015-16.
In van bandhukalyanyojana500 families are being benefitted by cattle/goat sheds in convergence with Animal husbandry & Dairy department. The cost of the goat (Rs. 8000/-) and cattle (Rs 10000/-) is being borne by the department and goat shed of Rs. 29000/- & cattle shed of Rs. 43000/- is being constructed by MGNREGA in convergence with TAD Beneficiary Name – Kali / Prakash & Lakshmi / Prakash Village - Birothi Brahman Block-Kherwara
Crematorium Construction under Convergence with GGY Under convergence with Mahatma Gandhi NREGA and Guru GolverkarYojana (GGY) 20 Crematorium (ShamshanGhat) have been sanctioned and in Progress. All such works have been sanctioned in project mode with Shed, Water facilities & Plantation etc. Average cost per crematoria approx. Rs 15 lacs includes 1- Public contribution 0.90 lacs 2- GGY Funds 9.00 Lacs 3- MGNREGA labour 3.5 Lacs , Mat. 1.60 Lacs Village & GP – Bambora, Block-Kurabad
Aanganwadi Construction Under convergence with Mahatma Gandhi NREGA and ICDS mission mode 99 Aanganwadi have been sanctioned in which Rs. 4.50 lacs per unit was contributed by ICDS and Rs. 1.38 lacs by MGNREGA.
Convergence with IWMP Under convergence with Mahatma Gandhi NREGA and IWMP scheme of watershed department 62 works amounting Rs. 240 lacs for construction of staggered contour trenches has been sanctioned in the year 2015-16 and are in Progress.
