Aim of the workshop was to: • Understand why we want to have a national data collaborative • Find out what you use / what you like about it and what you don’t • Find out what the similarities are in what we record and the differences • Demonstrate how data can be used • Generate some discussion on why using data is so important

  4. Patient Visibility • Making the journey visible • One continuum • Episodes of care • AH data ‘essential’ for representation of patient’s journey

  5. IPA vs NIPA Reference: health Round table • Individual Patient Attributable (IPA) Activity: Any clinical care activity that can be assigned to an individual patient. This includes any Direct or Indirect patient care. • Non Individual Patient Attributable (NIPA Activity: Any clinical care activity that cannot be assigned to individual patient’s)
