  3. WEB COUNSELING: STAGES: • Activities at the Help Line Centre (HLC). • Activity at Home. • Exercising the Options on WEB at Home/HLC/Internet Centre. • Allotment of Seats. • Payment of Fee. • Reporting at College. • Participating in Next Phase of Counseling. • Cancellation of Allotted Seat.

  4. EXERCISING OPTIONS ON THE INTERNET Who are Eligible? • Who have completed Registration. • Collected Scratch Card. • Completed Certificate Verification.

What is an Option? • Selection of College & Course you wish to Join. • What is exercising Option? • Selection of the College, Course you wish to join and arrange them in the Order of Preference is Exercising Options. • What Preparatory work you have to do? • Collect Handouts on College Codes and Course Codes and Instruction Book Let from the Help Line Centre and keep them ready.

  6. What Homework you have to do? • Download a Manual Option Form. • Go through the Last Ranks of various colleges of Last year admissions. • Consult your parents, teachers and friends and arrive list of colleges you wish to Join. • Prepare a list by filling Manual Option Form as shown:

Use Information of Last Ranks. • Prepare List of College codes, Course Codes in the Manual Option Form. • Go through the filled in Manual Option Form once or twice and make corrections and arrive at Final List. • Make use of this Filled in Manual Option Form for entering options in the web. Important: • Don’t enter Options directly on the web without filled in Manual Option form. • You are prone for mistakes if you enter options without help of filled in Manual Option form.

  8. How to enter options on the Web: • DOUBLE CLICK ON INTERNET EXPLORER (version 6.0 to 8.0 only) • It is not possible to enter options on Net scape navigator,Google chrome, Mozilla Firefox etc. browsers

  9. Entering URL: • Type the web address • Press ENTER. • The following HOME PAGE appears. http://apeamcet.nic.in

  11. HOME PAGE: • Menu buttons for candidates registration, candidates login, view options & bio-data, logout are provided. • Acquaint for other links.

  12. What You have to do? • Generate a Password containing 8 to 10 characters – combination of Alphabets and numbers. • Example: EAMCET2009, Abcd123. • Password is case sensitive.

  13. Generation of Password-1 • Click on Candidates Registration menu button onhome page.

  14. Generation of Password-2 Enter password, Re-enter same password, your personal mobile number and email Id (optional) Verify once again and click on “Save Password”

  15. Candidates Login for Option Entry: • Click on Candidates Login for entry of options on web Enter login Id No (Present in the hidden portion of your scratch card), Hall Ticket No, Password, Date of birth and click on Sign In
